Already two Nordic Ski World Championships have been held in Trentino (in 1991 and 2003). The ski jumping competitions were held in Predazzo, at the famous and renowned "Stadio del Trampolino".
Thanks to the ski jumping competitions Predazzo became one of the most popular holiday destinations in the whole Fiemme Valley. However, you needn't worry! There is really no need to be a ski jumper to be able to enjoy Predazzo! In Pedrazzo you can find more than 107 km of cross-country ski runs and 42 km of skiing slopes. Only 6 km from Predazzo there are the extensive skiing areas of Bellamonte-Alpe di Luisa and of Obereggen and Latemar. A modern cable car connects the 2 skiing resorts with each other.
Predazzo and its surroundings are also an interesting holiday area in summer with hundreds of marked hiking paths and mountain bike routes. They take hikers straight into the beautiful mountains, across lovely mountain pastures and through enchanting woods.
