Surrounded by impressive mountains, the small mountain village Panchià is situated between Tesero and Ziano di Fiemme in the Fiemme Valley. Panchià is a perfect starting point for excursions to the Cornon Massif or to the Mt. Monte Agnello.
Winter athletes like the location of Panchià. Slopes and cross-country ski runs are only a stone's throw away. Panchià is only about 4 km from the skiing area "Pampeago-Obereggen-Predazzo" and about 8 km from the area of "Bellamonte-Alpe di Luisa" away. In both skiing resorts you can find challenging slopes for expert skiers as well as easy and medium difficult ones for children and beginners. Night skiing is offered as a special attraction in the skiing areas of Obereggen and Pozza di Fassa!
For cross-country skiers, however, we recommend the center and the ski runs on and around the Lago di Tesero Lake. In 1991 and in 2003 the Nordic Ski World Championships took place here. Culturally interested people should visit the wooden bridge in Panchià and the Gothic Chapel "Capitèl dei Nastasi".
